Platform programme tiers are milestones worth hitting, but they change the terms of a channel rather than its audience.
Reaching a tier lets you charge for things. It does not make the platform show you to more people, which is the assumption that makes the milestone feel disappointing.
The thresholds are built around streaming regularly to a few viewers rather than one big night, which makes a sustainable schedule the fastest route.
Higher tiers can restrict streaming elsewhere. That matters most if you intend to keep an independent archive or broadcast on more than one platform.
